Salary: $50,000-$62,500/yr. plus potential for bonus

POSITION SUMMARY: The Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) and its Foundation (CRF) seeks an Events & Sponsorship Coordinator.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Events and Sponsorship Manager in planning and executing all events for the Association and Foundation including the Colorado Restaurant & Bar Show, the Government Affairs Golf Tournament, the Annual Blue Ribbon Legislative Reception, the CRA HOSPYS Awards Program, Denver Food + Wine Festival, Drink Red Wear Red, the CO ProStart Student Invitational, fundraising events, and other events as necessary.
- Supporting meetings, programs, and events for all boards and committees of the CRA & CRF as needed.
- Assisting with all event sponsorship fulfillment.
- Overseeing ServSafe program to include scheduling classes with trainer(s), handling all registrations for classes, working with the Communication department on marketing the classes, ordering supplies as needed and mailing out class materials. Proctoring exams as needed.
- Working with the Communication department to support and assist in developing written communication surrounding events/program and presentations for a diverse audience including restaurants, CRA members, CRF program participants, sponsors, providers, partners, media, and staff.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external vendors.
- Other duties as needed.

Ability to be attentive to detail, strategic, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient is crucial to this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in events and meeting coordination for a variety of event types and sizes.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication, organization, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple timelines at once.
- Expertise in diffusing high-pressure situations and solving problems on the fly.
- Self-directed, results-oriented work style with strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently or in close harmony with a small team.
- Discriminating attention to detail, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in addressing the needs of a diverse group of individuals.
- Demonstrated success building and fostering professional relationships.
- Strong aptitude with desktop and network-based software applications including expert level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Basic HTML and website experience preferred.
- Experience with database management; experience with membership database software preferred.
- Experience in graphics programs a bonus, specifically Canva.
- Bilingual -Spanish/English is a huge plus.
Travel Required:
- Some travel required (in Colorado) for events (including overnight stays).
Contact with Others:
- Considerable interaction with CRA staff and members, NRA staff, CRA Chapters, speakers and trainers.
