Position Summary: The Human Resources Assistant supports the firm with the deliver of human resources programs, procedures, and services. The HR Assistant performs human resources related tasks and responsibilities in the following functional areas, benefits administrations, full employee life cycle, recordkeeping, and general HR administration. 

Essential Functions:

  • Supports firm-wide recruitment efforts by place job postings/advertisements, monitoring OZ careers page, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate communications. 
  • Provides technical assistance and coordinates daily personnel program policies, plans and objectives. Typical tasks may include compiling salary and/or other personnel statistics, answering routine personnel inquiries, maintaining employee personnel information, files, and databases. 
  • Assists in benefits administration including open enrollment, benefits orientation, and processing any benefits changes. 
  • Performs as required, assignments in areas of wage and salary administration, employee benefit analysis, job evaluation, organizational studies, special projects, and employment activities. 
  • Completes federal reports and regulatory procedures including, EEO-1, VETS 4212, ACA 1094/1095, etc. 
  • Provides necessary information to Affirmative Action plan provider to complete annual AAP. 
  • Maintains employee files including entering employee data into Paycom, Deltek Vision, etc. 
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned, including operations administrative support. 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years experience in human resources and/or administrative experience
  • High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage through competing priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle extremely sensitive and business confidential information
  • Approachable, and willing to help others
  • Self-starter, with superior organizational skills, and detail oriented
