Description
Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 510 students located east of Boulder, Colorado seeks a full-time HVAC Mechanic/General Maintenance Technician to assist with the overall upkeep and repair of our 112-acre campus. In addition to our beautiful grounds, the campus includes numerous school buildings, as well as residential housing. A strong background in HVAC, controls, BAS, and mechanicals systems preferred.

Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
EPA CFC license preferred
-
HVAC/BAS controls experience preferred
-
5+ years of previous general maintenance experience.

2 years of preferred experience in basic plumbing & electrical troubleshooting & repair
-
Ability to life 40-50 pounds occasionally and up to 100 pounds occasionally
-
Ability to handle difficult physical labor 8 hours a day
-
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environment involving hot and cold weather

Ability to obtain a Colorado Driver’s License & good driving record

Great work ethic

Basic computer skills
Duties

Maintenance troubleshooting and repairs to include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry

This full-time position (Monday-Friday), with no on-call requirement. The pay range for this hourly position is $32.00 to $36.00. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
