Description of Job
The National Civic League is seeking a part-time (12-20 hrs/week) intern for our annual All-America City Awards Event. The intern will support the All-America City Awards program director by assisting with pre and post-event communications/marketing, event registration, event planning logistics and day-of-event support. Candidates should have experience with various social media platforms, marketing and event planning. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, be able to complete multiple concurrent tasks and excel at written and verbal communication.

  • Technical assistance
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Two years of a four-year degree program completed, preferably in a field related to communications/marketing or hospitality.
  • Writing and verbal skills
  • Social media and email marketing experience.
  • Design experience (Adobe creative suite) a plus.
Compensation/Benefits

This position would run from February to June of 2020 and pays minimum wage, $12.85/hour. The position is part-time, temporary, non-exempt, at-will, with no employee benefits. The successful candidate in this position will: be willing to submit to and able to successfully pass a criminal background check; possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license; and be able to travel as needed in the Denver Metro Area.
