Our DaVita Physician Experience team is hiring for an Internal Communications Specialist. This role will report to our Manager of Physician Engagement.
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for:
Leading communications strategy and programs to engage physician partners, industry thought leaders and internal stakeholders – from frontline teammates to senior physician leadership and senior executives.
Providing complex communications management, consultation, communications planning, implementation and recommended solutions for multiple business lanes.
Building DaVita’s clinical and operational credibility with physician partners by pioneering new message strategies that distill complex topics in to easily-digestible communications.
End-to-end ownership of physician-facing communications, including writing, editing, research, design, production, and program management. Ensures work is completed on time and on budget.
Coordinating across many stakeholders and subject-matter experts to ensure strategic business objectives are supported through physician communications programs that represent stakeholder perspectives and meet business needs.
Reporting on communications performance metrics, highlight areas for improvement, and act to close gaps.
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Project leadership: Ownership of multiple complex, high priority programs at once. Ensure optimal delivery of solutions to thousands of facilities and providers. Provide project management, leadership, support, and analytics.
Strategy: Responsible both for supporting short term strategic needs, as well as guiding our long term strategy of creating the greatest healthcare community the world has ever seen.
Relationship management: Own relationship and build cohesive strategy with key internal stakeholders such as the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Field operations, Corporate Strategy, and Government Affairs, among others.
Executive communication: Develop and manage regular metrics and reporting for senior leadership. The Manager’s ability to drive compelling presentations, command a room, and influence peers is critical.
Data analysis: Synthesize complex data sets to identify patterns and trends. Convey findings in a cohesive story, including summarizing insights from analysis, identifying next steps, and developing implementation plans.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience working with email deployment systems and/or campaign management systems
Project management or coordination experience
Experience in the strategic communications field, including change management, leadership messaging, content development, Web strategy, and implementation planning
Knowledge of and/or previous experience in healthcare marketing and communications, preference given to healthcare technology focus
