We are seeking a successful Marketing and Communications Manager who embraces the tourism industry. We need that special person who enjoys working with people, creating excitement, and bringing their fun and energy to our events and marketing plan.

This creative person will oversee and develop marketing strategies to promote, elevate, and maintain the park standing in the world tourism arena, including media and public relations, advertising, digital mediums, and sales. You will work in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and with a great established team of people who truly like their jobs. This is a fulltime benefited position and will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions (This is not an all-inclusive list)

· Leading a small team including Sales and Events staff (1 fulltime and 1 seasonal) and the Branding Coordinator.

· Will work with established contracts, vendors, agencies, and partnerships.

· Oversee and execute all media placements including traditional print to social media including billboards.

· Will Develop and implement advertising and marketing campaigns.

· Will be required to help develop or improve, promote, and work park events including contracting entertainment for the tourist season.

· Prepare and distribute media pitches, write press releases, act as spokesperson for all media including broadcast/TV/radio and social influencers.

· Responsible for website content and updates.

· Represent the park on tourism and community boards, and form industry and community relations, some travel is involved.

· Manage and reconcile the set marketing budget.

· Keep up to date on marketing trends and industry research for strategic planning. Prepare reports to measure ROI and marketing successes.

· Must be proficient in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and multiple software programs including Microsoft office and the company’s Point of Sale system. Knowledge and use of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Additional Qualifications: seeking a degreed candidate in Marketing or Communications, or related field, combined with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a marketing capacity. Ability to maintain a driver’s license in good standing and pass a background check.

Salary: Wage Range $65,000 to $75,000
