Lyft is looking for a motivated, creative and highly organized Marketing Associate to join our Colorado team. In this role, you will help build and scale marketing efforts at a local level. You will also help with executing grassroots marketing initiatives that build the Lyft brand and help Lyft acquire new passengers. Expect to join a vibrant, energetic team in brand new office close to downtown Denver.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate original ideas for, and fully execute on, interesting and brand-relevant experiential activations to drive new passenger acquisition and existing passenger delight (guerrilla, interactive setups, contests, games, Instagrammable moments etc.)
Take ownership of maintaining and growing our high quality local brand ambassador program in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and the Colorado Mountains
Schedule, support, pay and manage communications with ambassadors using internal systems
Own logistical operations of pickup and dropoff areas, general wayfinding signage, in-app notifications and other experiential onsite activations at partner events
Document events with beautiful photos and data-centric recaps to determine event effectiveness
Proactively identify areas for growing Lyft across the Colorado region and own growth initiatives from ideation to execution to measurement

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably within Marketing, PR, Communications or similar field)
3+ years of marketing experience required
Currently live in and have a strong knowledge of the Denver community (top events, venues, hotels, associations, nonprofits, neighborhoods, etc.)
Ability to work occasional late/odd/weekend hours depending on event needs
Ability to drive a stick shift (or willingness to learn) is required (a major component of our onsite activations is a manual transmission vehicle)
Strong experience with events and/or brand ambassador marketing – complete understanding of operational challenges, logistical concerns, how to staff, general rules & regulations, and brand ambassador best practices
Ability to work as part of a team and independently – once you’re clear on the task at hand, you are able to run with it and take it up a notch
Experience managing projects with lots of small moving parts
Experience contributing social media/blog content on behalf of a business
Experience analyzing data and creating executive facing decks
High energy with an outgoing, social personality—you love talking to people and maintaining relationships
Self-starter experienced in proactively identifying and running with projects to grow and support businesses
Worked in a start-up environment and/or you are ok with things changing and moving very quickly
Proficient with a Mac
