The position of Marketing Manager is a full-time, exempt position, and will be creating and implementing marketing campaigns that represent the ARVC brand. Our central office in Centennial, CO (just south of Denver), but this position can be based anywhere working remotely.

Prior experience in an association or nonprofit environment is preferred.


  • Manage the development, planning and execution of social media and targeted digital marketing campaigns using the organization’s marketing automation software to attract new members and retain existing members within budget;
  • Manage the editorial calendar organizing all outbound communications for the organization;
  • Update content for all of the organization’s digital channels, including social posting and monitoring and basic website updates;
  • Manage the ARVC social ambassador program using social influencers to drive knowledge of the organization’s consumer brand—GoCampingAmerica;
  • Monitor analytics for all of the organization’s marketing channels to shape content strategies that drive engagement;
  • Manage freelancers and member-created content and collaborate with professional development team to curate this content for the organization’s many member-focused digital channels, including websites, blogs, social, e-newsletters, and Resource Database;
  • Write and distribute press releases to industry and consumer media and post these announcements on the organization’s social channels;
  • Administrate ARVC Awards of Excellence program, including designing and conducting awards voting process, securing judges, ordering awards and writing awards scripts;
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all members of the ARVC community; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • BS/BA, marketing or communications degree or similar work experience;
  • 3+ years of experience. Work in nonprofit, member-focused associations, a plus;
  • Savvy in digital marketing/advertising, SEO, and major social media channel best practices;  
  • Proficiency in marketing automation software (we use Pardot), MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite required; and
  • Knowledge in Salesforce, HTML and project management tools (we use Asana and Trello) is a plus.
