The Marketing Manager of Denver Health Medical Plan is responsible for the overall coordination, development, and coordination of all marketing and promotion activities for all lines of business in Managed Care, including commercial products (Denver Medical Care HMO, Denver Medical Care DHMO, Point of Service and Exchange products), and government products (Child Health Plan Plus, Medicare Choice, Medicare Select and DH Medicaid Choice),encompassing all member communications and materials, as well as paid advertising and community outreach.

 
Education:  High School diploma required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  

Experience:  Typically, five years of progressive experience as a marketing manager in the healthcare industry, including insight, research, developing strategy and branding, and managing paid advertising and promotional activities.  Knowledge of healthcare privacy laws, Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Finance (“HCPF”) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (“CMS”) regulations for health plan commercial and government products marketing materials is highly desirable.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Able to perform strategic and financial analysis in developing all health plan marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.  Able to measure and demonstrate effectiveness of these activities against goals and budget.  Able to lead a team of marketing professionals to achieve appropriate results while working collaboratively.  Must be service-oriented with strong organizational abilities and interpersonal skills.  Experienced with working with a variety of stakeholders and navigating rapidly changing priorities.  Able to interpret and analyze marketing statistical information in making sound recommendations, gather information from a variety of sources, analyze information, identify and draw appropriate conclusions, and present alternatives.
