About Deeply Rooted Music School
Deeply Rooted Music School (DRMS) is a community music school in Arvada, Colorado, serving families across Arvada, Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Golden, Thornton, and northwest Denver. Our mission is to empower students to express themselves through music with collaboration, creativity, and fun. We’re currently seeking voice, violin/viola, and piano instructors who can work alongside our students and staff to deliver engaging, effective music instruction.

Responsibilities
- Teach private one-on-one lessons and/or group classes
- Create a safe, welcoming, and fun learning environment
- Prepare content and materials for each lesson or class
- Share with DRMS the lessons or classes you’re able to teach, including descriptions, lengths, and ideal class sizes
- Arrive on time and communicate any absences promptly
- Report attendance, attend periodic staff meetings, and provide regular updates on student progress
- Handle DRMS instruments and facilities with care
- Optional: teach virtual lessons or classes (instructor provides their own technology)
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of teaching experience with students ages 5-12
- At least 6 years of active experience in your instrument or content area
- Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and an open, encouraging teaching style
- Highly qualified to instruct in your primary instrument; experience in a second area (especially electronic music production) is a plus
- Degree in music or music education, or formal training or certification in music or education, preferred but not required
- Background check required
