Job Description:

PBS12 seeks an innovative, agile, and forward-thinking Vice-President of Brand and Development to oversee brand strategy, fundraising, and membership development. This role will report to the President and General Manager.

This is a non-commissioned, guaranteed-salary, full-time, hybrid (60% in-office, 40% remote) position based at PBS12’s facility at the Five Points Media Center in Denver, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deploy a successful corporate underwriting strategy
• Refine, enhance, and evolve PBS12’s membership and donor acquisition and retention strategy
• Refine, enhance, and evolve PBS12’s grant strategy
• Work closely with the Director of Marketing to refine the PBS12 brand and deployment strategy
• Develop and enhance partnerships and relationships across the Colorado business, non-profit, and foundation communities.
• Work closely with PBS12 content teams to identify opportunities across the portfolio
• Innovate new approaches and create renewed excitement around traditional fundraising, such as pledge drives and special events
• Collaborate with and develop the fundraising skills of other PBS12 colleagues

Required Skills:
• Five or more years in fundraising or sales
• Strong organizational skills and experience with CRM-type tools
• Track record of successful strategic planning and mature leadership
• Excellent active-listening and communication skills
• Track record of innovative problem-solving and an opportunity-recognition mindset
• Strong writing, presentation creation, and presentation delivery skills
• Ability and desire to learn new product sets and become a subject-matter expert
• Ability to review data sets and identify relevant patterns and opportunities
• A positive, optimistic attitude with an excellent work ethic and sense of urgency

Compensation: $110K-$120K guaranteed salary annually (non-commissioned role)

Benefits: PBS12 offers a comprehensive benefits package with 100% employer-sponsored medical, dental, LTD, and a $25k life insurance policy along with access to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Paid time off includes 10 holidays, a Winter Break, plus accrual of vacation, and sick days. Additionally, employees may participate in a 403b retirement plan with a 3% employer match after one year of service.
