The President and CEO for Castle Rock Chamber creates an organized, detail-oriented approach to their work. They present a professional presence and experience in all interactions. – Understanding of workforce training and development issues and implementing programs in collaboration with educational partners to address needs.
– Successful experience forging productive alliances across private, public, and governmental sectors and leading public/private partnerships.
– Has actively promoted an organization, track record of member retention, increased value, and appropriate expansion.
– Experience effectively developing and managing programs and interactions within and outside of the nonprofit organization.
– Strong background interacting and communicating with multiple audiences at the public, private, and media level; strong public speaking abilities.
– Excellent listener; outstanding written and oral communication skills; effective presentation skills to multiple audiences.
– Experience bringing groups and individuals together around complex issues.
– Experience with governance issues and Board of Directors interactions
– History of creating programs and initiatives that focus on increasing economic vitality and quality of life.
– Demonstrated ability to manage the financial affairs of an organization and communicate effectively with investors as well as analyze, direct, and execute financial projections.
– Ability to effectively articulate goals, objectives, and policy positions of the Chamber to the media and the community.
– Knows how to lead teams and measure their work performance through objective KPIs.
– Shows dedication to ongoing professional knowledge, measurable achievement, and skill development.
Knowledge and Other Inclusion Criteria
– Authorized to work in the U.S.
– Must reside in or relocate to Douglas County, Colorado.
– Consent to Background Check.
– Relevant 4-year degree required (post graduate degree/s are a plus).
– Valid Driver's License
– 3 – 5 Years' Executive experience required (chamber or non-profit experience is a plus). Non-Profit Certifications should be included with application.
– Please Expect to Provide a Minimum of five References (mix of personal and professional is a plus) within the application process.
– Inclusion of any past formal work assessments-inventories are a plus (examples included Clifton's Strength Finder, Disc, Big-5, certifications, etc).

– Work with staff members to develop work plans to ensure financial resources meet operational/program needs.
– Represent the Chamber before elected/civic/community groups to ensure that the public is adequately informed of the Chamber's mission and activities.
– Develop and administer operating systems and procedures to implement, monitor, control, and assure compliance with approved policies, plans, programs, and budgets.
– Analyze financial data and reports, working with the Board Treasurer to stay apprised of the organization's financial condition providing strategic financial projections.
– Supervise and coordinate the duties and actions of personnel.
– Develop employee retention policies and controls that provide the framework and capability for the Chamber to attract and retain competent employees.
– Administer employee benefits plan.
– Bring to the attention of the Executive Committee any incidents, trends, actions, and events which may impact Chamber members and/or the community.
– Administer employee feedback and performance reviews based on objective KPIs.
– Consistently meet, report status, and align on objective KPIs with the Executive Committee.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
