Position Summary:  Accurence is building a team of passionate marketing professionals to support our mission of delivering the highest value and satisfaction to our customers by cultivating a holistic marketing ethos. We are looking for an experienced product marketer to join our team. 
Our ideal candidate is a creative, passionate, and empathetic marketing professional with experience in the tech/SaaS space. You will serve as a conduit between stakeholders in order to communicate and prioritize needs. You will be the expert in our customers, how and why they buy, and use that knowledge drive adoption and expansion of our solutions. To succeed in this role, you will embrace design-thinking philosophy—understand, ideate, prototype, validate—to ensure all marketing efforts are centered around the customers’ point of view.

As a product marketing manager you will have to work with teams across your organization. This will include sales, training, product development, and product owners.
Research skills:  A crucial part of being a product marketing manager is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.
Marketing skills:  You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. Broad experience ranging traditional and digital marketing is required. The curiosity and desire to experiment and iterate with emerging marketing is welcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Be an Expert on Our Customers—
Work closely with our customers to gain insight into who they are, their needs, and experiences throughout their journey using research, data, surveys and customer interviews to help them meet their goals. 
Ensure Customer Success—Support the customer success team in driving adoption and increasing retention by creating and iterating on training programs and materials.
Market Intelligence—Become the authority on our competition and how they are positioned. Develop a deep understanding of the industry through tradeshows, events, accompanying sales and account management on sales calls, business review meetings, etc.
Inform & Help Shape Our Products—Gather internal and external stakeholder input on features and priorities then clearly articulate the customers’ stories to the product team so they understand the intent behind the new product or product release. Conduct site visits with clients determine what is and isn’t working. 
Product Evangelist—Serve as a subject matter expert on our products in support of marketing and sales programs. Ability to speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences. 
Sales Enablement—Partner closely with content marketing manager to develop and deliver high-impact sales tools such as collateral, presentations, case studies, demos, etc. Create sales training materials that communicate the value of new products, cover industry trends, value proposition, and competitive positioning. Analyze the sales cycle and formulate ideas and approaches to optimize the selling process.
Marketing—Develop, execute, and measure go-to-market strategy in partnership with product, sales, and customer success. Participate in the creation of a marketing plan for the products you support, to drive the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
Product Messaging / Positioning—In collaboration with marketing team, harness product expertise to develop, refine, and implement high impact and differentiated positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas and communicate company positioning and messaging internally and externally.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent.
  • Proven success in marketing roles requiring extensive interaction working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
  • You have the ability to clearly and simply articulate ideas, framing problems and solutions.
  • You are a pragmatic and practical self-starter; an outcomes-oriented person who can juggle multiple work streams.
  • You are an analytical yet creative thinker, and truly enjoy client-facing interactions.
  • You have a good understanding of the sales process for enterprise software and how best to support sales teams and equip them for success.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
