Description
Working closely with the President, Director of Communications, and the broader Colorado Business Roundtable (COBRT) team, this role is hands-on and fast-moving. You’ll support high-profile events, help craft polished partner- and public-facing materials, and play a key role in keeping projects organized and on track, all with the goal of advancing COBRT’s mission.
This position is especially well-suited for someone who is proactive by nature—someone who anticipates needs, notices the small details others might miss, and takes pride in producing professional work that reflects a high standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Event and Program Support
- Assist with planning and execution of COBRT events, including Signature Events and Policy Cabinet Roundtables
- Support logistics such as registration lists, nametags, signage, handouts, volunteer coordination, and day-of setup
- Help coordinate speaker scheduling and communications
- Draft clear, polished pre- and post-event communications for attendees
- Assist with run-of-show documents and event materials
- Provide onsite support, including check-in, setup, and troubleshooting
- Provide onsite support for meetings and engagements.
Communications & Social Media
- Assist with drafting and scheduling social media content across COBRT platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
- Help gather and organize photos, videos, and content for digital channels
- Support newsletters, event promotions, and other external communications
- Assist with website updates in coordination with an external vendor
- Help track digital engagement and performance metrics
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to support partner engagement and data accuracy
- Work collaboratively across the team to support strategic communications and events
- Step in to assist team members and contractors during major projects or high-volume weeks
What We’re Looking For
- Entry-level or early-career candidate; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, public affairs, business, marketing, event planning, or a related field preferred
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, social media platforms, and basic database/CRM tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing polished, error-free work—especially for partner- and external-facing materials
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive self-starter who anticipates needs, takes initiative, and follows through
- Positive, professional attitude with a strong desire to learn and contribute
Work Arrangement
Hybrid role, primarily in-office (four days per week), with the potential for increased flexibility over time based on performance and role needs. Our office is located in the Denver Tech Center, near I-25 and Orchard Rd.
Reliable transportation is required for occasional travel to meetings and events throughout the Denver metro area.
Benefits package:
Salary range: $50,000–$60,000, plus paid holidays, flexible scheduling, and paid vacation time. In addition, COBRT offers a generous health stipend and a corporate retirement match after six months of employment.
