8z | PROJECT MANAGER

Job Overview: 

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, delegating and overseeing brokerage and agent-specific projects within 8z, from the initial ideation through to completion. They synchronize people and processes to deliver projects on time; manage and measure outcomes aligned to objectives; and regularly report on progress. The Project Manager will be part of the Marketing Department, reporting to the VP of Marketing, and will act as a point of liaison between the team, senior leadership and 8z agents. 

Responsibilities for Project Manager:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams and activities

  • Manage projects with team by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

  • Oversee Listing Marketing Manager

  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements, when needed

  • Track project costs in order to meet budget

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

  • Serve as a liaison, trafficking projects to our agents and teams, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and delivered to their satisfaction

  • Communicates across departments to ensure consistency among processes and deliverables

  • Utilize project management software to keep department and teams organized and in sync

Qualifications for Project Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (communications, marketing, business, etc.)

  • 2+ years of project management and related experience

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (Asana, Basecamp, etc.)

  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

  • Excellent analytical and organization skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

  • Confident communicator, including oral and written communications

  • knowledge of marketing and branding principles 

  • Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
