Overview:
Marczyk Fine Foods is a world-class, neighborhood market, and the Marketing Manager coordinates and develops marketing strategies, content, and campaigns. This position maintains a content schedule across platforms like email newsletters, a Squarespace website, and social media. It also integrates marketing goals across multiple product categories, ensuring a unified "Marczyk Voice" that fosters meaningful, sales-driven customer engagement. While experience is valued, we prioritize attitude and aptitude, providing training for excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly content schedules for social media (daily posts) and email newsletters/e-circulars (multiple times per week).
- Work with the Director of Purchasing to integrate marketing content from external sources (monthly/periodic).
- Oversee content updates for the company website (Squarespace) on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Design materials for special events to support sales goals (on-demand).
- Create private label designs and printed labels for new product offerings (quarterly/on-demand).
- Produce video and food photography content (weekly).
- Collaborate with the Director of Purchasing and senior leadership to develop an AI-driven copywriting persona for content creation efficiency.
- Assist in external advertising planning (e.g., CPR, Westword) and identify new advertising opportunities.
- Maintain a schedule of in-store events to boost "sales holidays."
- Cultivate partnerships with realtors, property managers, and local farmer's markets to generate new customer streams and recruitment opportunities.
- Develop community outreach initiatives to drive sales and engagement.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Occasional stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and content creation.
- Experience managing content schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with Squarespace or similar website platforms.
- Experience with design software (Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, etc.) and Apple platforms.
- Proven ability to develop and strengthen a brand identity.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation between store locations.
