Now, about the position:

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for the day-to-day project management of all assigned projects and scope of work.  You will be the core agency representative for a team of clients who are fun, seasoned, and like to make things happen. The agency will expect you to be an execution whiz, so strong skills in working with Creative, Production, Media, and Studio teams will be an absolute necessity. The team is growing, and there will be an opportunity in the near future for the supervision and development of junior colleagues. You will also have the support of an Account Supervisor and Director.


So, what do the duties and responsibilities look like?

  • Build strong client relationships through trust-based partnership, passion, commitment, integrity, fast responses, business maturity, and flawless delivery
  • Work with clients to understand individual market media needs and dynamics to properly brief our internal Media team for media plan development
  • Collaborate with Media Director and Associate Media Director to align on the most optimal media mix chosen for each market, and the media flight schedule that best delivers on client objectives
  • Manage insertions list to develop, execute, and traffic a variety of media creative vehicles in a timely and proactive manner
  • Collaborate with Digital team on solutions for new client requests, website management and growth, email, and banner ad development 
  • Work closely with Production Manager to plan for and execute a variety of direct mail tactics within budget and on-time
  • Submit new jobs to Studio with detailed direction, keeping close communication with Traffic Manager on the flow of work and internal reviews
  • Foster positive, collaborative, and motivating relationships with the Creative team, and demonstrate an understanding & reverence for the creative process
  • Write rock-solid briefs that inspire strong creative work
  • Act as a relentless brand steward, ensuring that all creative touch-points are on-brand, deliver on insights, and build the client’s brand in each market
  • Ensure excellent account coordination through seamless clear and concise communication
  • Work with Account Supervisor to develop scope, manage budgets, and maintain healthy financials
  • Anticipate monthly reoccurring creative and reporting deliverables to allow for breathable timelines
  • Work with Account Supervisor and other team leaders for bi-annual planning sessions with the client team
  • Help organize and host client meetings that are collaborative and move the needle forward on all levels
  • Become a healthcare industry guru and take initiative to knowledge-share across the team
  • Listen for and identify white space projects/needs
  • Take a problem solving approach to challenges that pop up and identify when to elevate issues
  • Limited travel as necessary

About You:  

  • A bachelor’s degree and background in marketing, advertising and/or communications with 4-5 years’ experience
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred, but not required
  • Experience collaborating with media teams on media planning, evaluating flighted media plans in detail, and executing/trafficking media deliverables
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing video, digital, print, OOH, direct mail, and collateral
  • Familiarity with the website and email development process (content planning, wireframes, design, development and implementation)
  • Knowledge of direct response marketing, data processing, graphics, printing production methods, digital, and media
  • A proven track record of strong written and verbal communication skills, proofreading skills, attention to detail and fast responses to client emails and requests
