As a strategic leader, the System Director-Human Resources aligns business objectives with employees and management Nationally and/or within designated markets and/or regions. The System Director-Human Resources serves as an evidence-based consultant to executive leadership related to organizational goals and strategy on Human Resource related issues, including but not limited to employee relations, labor relations, performance management, training, policy application, organizational development, workforce planning, ADA interactive process and compensation. The System Director-Human Resources will lead the design and integration of key strategic initiatives nationally and/or within assigned markets/regions. The System Director-Human Resources will proactively communicate needs to the HR department, colleagues within the Centers of Expertise (CoE) and management. The System Director-Human Resources seeks to develop integrated solutions and is a change agent and champion for new HR initiatives and programs. The System Director-Human Resources directs the HR team and formulates partnerships across the HR team and CoE to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the strategic business objectives of CommonSpirit Health.

 

This National leader will also manage a variety of HR operational activities in an effort to support the broader organization including but not limited to process improvement initiatives, the creation and implementation of HR operational programs and/or practices, ensuring and monitoring of regulatory compliance and associated standardization, and serves as the lead to facilitate the integration of unconnected sites into the organization. Additionally, leads, manages and maintains HR operational programs such as job description standardization, reward and recognition programs, licensure/certification monitoring and accountability as well as various other program initiatives while updating associated programmatic processes over time as the broader organization grows, develops and expands.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of seven years HR or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated employee relations experience with a working knowledge of recruitment, training delivery, benefits and compensation theory/administration

Other combination of experience and education may be considered per CSH standards

 

Preferred:

  • Master's degree
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP

Physicial Requirement:

  • Sedentary work – prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally

Pay Range

$130,000 – $218,400 / annually
