At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills – but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.  Reporting to the Senior Vice President Strategy & Business Development, the Vice President (VP) of Marketing will direct and oversee Centura Health’s Marketing department by selling an integrated care experience in the marketplace, drawing upon his/her sphere of influence and strategic marketing tools. This position has the opportunity to profoundly affect the overall direction and delivery of Centura Health's services, serving in a highly visible internal and external capacity. Will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with Centura Health business goals.    The ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. This role is inclusive of all sub-specialties within marketing such as Market Research, Search Engine Optimization, Social and Digial marketing, and Brand Development.   You will  be intricately involved in a significant role shaping the company’s strategic planning, ensuring that the Marketing department’s activities contribute to Centura Health’s long-term success.  

Important to this role is understanding the leadership expectations of this position and the entire leadership team throughout Centura Health. The VP Marketing must have a personal and professional connection to the Mission of our Christian organization. This position must be a team player themselves and contribute toward a Team centered approach that lends itself to ensuring “team before self” as we lead our complex, highly matrixed organization into the differentiated leading role as THE system of choice. This position will invite others into their Mission and Community Health work in order to be fully Transparent with the activities of this position, allowing for celebration of success and learnings through opportunities for change. This position will be a change agent for the health system by being bold in our thoughts and actions that generate the need for Urgency as we forge ahead as the thought leader in our industry. Finally, the individual must demonstrate personal and professional Accountability to our community, associates, physicians, and sponsors for performance for nursing and its team.

What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Care Management or a related field Required.
Master's degree in healthcare or business Required.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership in the Marketing arena Required.

Experience building a network function, having demonstrated the ability to build teams and work collaboratively, garner support, manage conflicts and champion initiatives successfully across a broad, highly-matrixed, and complex organization.

Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, national guidelines for quality of care and beset practices, data extraction and manipulation, information systems, population-based studies, health services research, research methods, relational databases, bio-statistics, risk adjustment and predictive modeling is highly desirable.
