What Will You Be Doing?

Provides strategic recruiting and staffing support to Frontier Airlines hiring managers.  Provides “full-cycle” support that includes: sourcing, pre-screening and interviewing, scheduling, facilitation and on-boarding.  Works independently for all positions manager and below; partners with Staffing Manager for positions at or above Director-level.

Essential Functions:

  • Screen resumes based on candidate qualifications, position requirements and hiring leader preferences. Create competency/behavioral based interview questions for pre-screens and interviews. Create and conduct assessments to support analysis of candidates.  35%  
  • Recruit by meeting with hiring leaders to identify the mediums and details of the candidate search. Customize a sourcing strategy for each requisition that factors the needs of the hiring leader, cost, characteristics of the position, etc.  15%  
  • Oversee hiring process from start to finish. This will require updating the hiring leader of progress and status of the recruiting effort.  Adjust recruiting strategy as necessary to accomplish the desired outcome.  15%  
  • Educate hiring managers and employees on hiring processes and guidelines. 10%  
  • Create requisitions in the Talent Management System that are designed to be descriptive of the position and attractive to candidates. Ensure that requisitions are posted to the hiring leader’s preference and that posting requirements are met.  5%
  • In partnership with Compensation, facilitate offers based on hiring leader’s budget, compensation guidelines and internal equity issues. Customize offer packets and include any related training materials required prior to first day of employment.  5%  
  • Travel in- and out-of-state as required to support the company’s recruiting and hiring needs. 5%
  • Schedules and facilitates pre-employment compliance processes (including fingerprinting and drug screens) and works closely with other team members to ensure their completion. 5%  
  • Identify career fairs and/or recruiting events that would the company’s staffing efforts from a cost/benefit standpoint. Represent the company at such events by marketing the job opportunities to candidates.  <5%  
  • Stay current on compliance issues related to FAA, EEO, Title VII and OFCCP guidelines. Act as a subject matter expert with hiring managers and employees as these areas relate to staffing/recruiting/hiring/interviewing.  <5%  
  • Provide (or assist in) training for others on the HR team, other departments, or hiring leaders. <5%


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field; combination of education and relevant human resources experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 2 years of recruiting experience in a corporate setting required; 3 years of total HR experience considered in lieu of recruiting experience requirement.
  • 2 years of corporate office administrative experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and UltiPro preferred
