Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager

Salary Range: $40,000-50,000

Full Time Position


Summary of Position:

Develop and manage the year-round marketing and advertising plan for SeriesFest.

This individual is detail oriented, able to think independently and exercise judgement in

order to identify marketing opportunities, create compelling marketing campaigns and

handle requests and issues that vary across internal and external partners. This individual will work remotely most of the time.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for brand guidelines, design aesthetic, and messaging strategy

  • Create and manage digital cross-promotional opportunities and local partnership

  • Work with the leadership team to create and manage annual marketing budget

  • Manage monthly newsletter, blog and podcast

  • Oversee all print and branded materials including decks, program guide, merchandise, on-site signage, invitations, etc.

  • Liaison for press

  • Develop additional marketing opportunities to increase ticket sales and work with operations to support execution of festival ticketing

  • Oversee graphic designer, digital agency, and photo/video teams

  • Represents SeriesFest at external networking meetings, special and community events


Preferred Qualifications Include:

  1. Understand and appreciate the mission of the SeriesFest

  2. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Marketing/ Business Communications or a related field

  3. 5 years of related work experience

  4. Exceptional written, verbal and listening communication skills with a self-motivated, can do attitude

  5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-dimensional environment

  6. Extensive knowledge of social media and online marketing initiatives and strategies

  7. Creative, detail-oriented person who can juggle multiple tasks

  8. Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google AdWords, Rubicon, CMS, Photoshop

  9. Experience with media buying

  10. Knowledge of programmatic media and real time bidding

  11. Experience working with email, mobile and digital marketing programs

  12. Knowledge of data analysis and budgeting

  13. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships

  14. Knowledge of music, film and television industries

  15. Requires evening and weekend hours throughout the year on special programs
