The Barton Institute is the fiscal sponsor for various rapidly-growing local nonprofit organizations. In that role, we provide “back office” operations, including accounting, payroll, benefits, human resources, insurance, banking, and more. We anticipate adding more program partners in the next year or two. In addition, the Barton Institute plans to launch a Pathways Program by the end of 2024. This program will engage social sector leaders with historically marginalized identities (BIPOC, LGTBQ+, and leaders with disabilities) in one-year mentoring relationships with a mentor who shares similar lived experiences and professional expertise.
