Conference Planning Internship

Colorado Preservation, Inc. is accepting applications for a paid internship position for a current student for September 2020 – March 2021. The role is dedicated support for the planning and execution of the 24th Annual Saving Places Conference, February 10-12, 2021 to be held online.

Colorado Preservation, Inc. is a statewide nonprofit that works to promote historic preservation. The Saving Places Conference hosts professionals from across the state for educational sessions, tours, and networking opportunities. In 2020, over 750 professionals attended the event. We are expecting more than 1,000 virtual attendees in 2021.

The Saving Places Intern will directly assist the Events and Development Director with planning, promoting, and implementing the conference. Colorado Preservation, Inc. is managed by a staff of four, the Conference is a large undertaking for such a small team. Candidates should be adaptable, highly organized, able to work autonomously, and capable of prioritizing tasks appropriately. It is a part-time and paid internship with flexible hours September 2020 – March 2021.

Colorado Young Advocate

Young Invincibles (“YI”) is accepting applications for our 2020 Fall Young Advocates program.
The Young Advocates program is a unique, paid leadership development program that trains
young adults ages 18-34 to strengthen their voices across our issue areas while developing skills
and gaining experience in the core functions of advocacy and policy work. Advocates build
power among young adults to effect positive change in their communities through on-the-ground
organizing, such as planning state and local events to educate and facilitate discussions on
pressing issues affecting young people.

Marketing Intern (Paid)

The Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy and execution as they support the marketing efforts of Molly’s Spirits across all channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic creative, someone who can help bring the “Molly’s Magic” to life in the form of visual and written content, and thinks analytically to ensure that the right messages and visuals reach the right customers at the right time.

This Marketing Intern will have a great eye, be savvy with design programs, be a great communicator with strong writing skills, and love using both sides of their brain when segmenting, optimizing, and reporting on the performance of their initiatives.

The successful individual will be someone who has the right mix of curiosity, passion and energy. They will be able to work in a small team environment where collaboration as well as direct and honest communication is valued.

Communications Intern

Common Sense Institute, a non-profit free-enterprise think tank, dedicated to developing deep insights into critical policy issues facing the state of CO is seeking a Communications Intern. This position will provide communication and administrative support for the Community Engagement Manager for the fall of 2020.
