A premier boutique law firm is looking for a new team member to be the face of their company. This bankruptcy firm is busy and has a vibrant and compassionate culture. In this role you would be responsible for general receptionist duties, such as answering the phones and general calendaring duties and work directly with our clients to provide support. In addition, you will have legal secretarial duties and entry level paralegal duties, such as filing with the court, learning drafting and more.
There is room to grow in this role and would be an excellent opportunity for someone who has been a legal secretary, just received their paralegal certificate or is interested in newly learning the field. If you are capable and willing, your responsibilities can be elevated to higher level paralegal duties.
The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, be great with computers and technology, is client centric and works efficiently. Additionally, you should be a self-starter, able to work independently, but not be afraid to ask for help when you need it. We highly value collaboration, a proactive attitude and people with an aptitude for problem solving. Great communication skills, being highly organized and an excellent attention to detail are a must.
This is not a remote job. We are relocating to southern Denver Metro area within the year.
Duties Include, but not limited to:
– Reception Duties, answering phones, greeting clients
– Manage calendars
– Organizing and classifying records and info
– Managing client communications
– Court Filings
– Drafting and other legal writing as trained
– General Admin duties

Required Experience:
– 0 – 3 years of experience as an Admin Assistant, Receptionist or similar role
– 2 – 3 years in a client facing or customer service oriented role
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
– 1 – 2 years of paralegal or legal secretary experience preferred, but not required
– Experience working with confidential files or similar preferred, but not required
– College degree or course work preferred, but not required
Hours and Compensation:
Full time, Monday – Friday, 9 – 5pm
$48,000 – $60,000 annually, Depending on Experience
