The City of Sheridan, Colorado, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Communication and Engagement Manager to lead and execute its public communications strategy. This role is critical in shaping the City's voice, managing media relations, and directing strategic communication efforts. As the Public Information Officer, you will serve as the primary spokesperson for the City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Police Department, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging that aligns with the City's mission to serve its diverse community. You will collaborate with various City departments, community organizations, and media outlets to foster meaningful community engagement and enhance the City's outreach efforts.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned communications professional with a passion for public service and community engagement and a strong background in marketing. You will have the opportunity to modernize internal and external communications, promote civic engagement in a multicultural community, and evolve the City's Strategic Communications Plan.
