PAA is seeking an experienced and energetic marketing manager to increase brand awareness and help drive the organization’s mission, vision and goals. Candidates should have experience in all aspects of marketing and a strong desire to promote and achieve organizational goals and increase the awareness and importance of the performing arts in the lives of children and youth in the community.

Description

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field.  Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.  Proven success in designing interactive applications and networking platforms.  Established and effective communication and leadership skills.
 

Necessary Software Knowledge: 

  • Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Dropbox/Google Drive, Google Docs, Facebook for Business, Google Ads, MailChimp.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Create and maintain short and long term Marketing and Messaging Strategies

  • Manage the marketing budget

  • Update PAA’s website content regularly for cohesive branding and keeping information accurate or relevant for optimum engagement that includes Registration and Ticket Sales. 

  • Manage all outward, customer facing materials to ensure cohesive branding

  • Managing advertising vendors and negotiating best possible rates

  • Design and oversee promotional print, digital and advertising materials: videos, posters, brochures, direct mail, and playbill programs for PAA shows and events

  • Oversee PAA’s Social Media Specialist for creative content, consistent branding and effective scheduling through social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Flickr, and TikTok.)

  • Coordinate with PAA’s webmaster to track and report on website metrics in order to increase SEO and online traffic

  • Manage Email Marketing

    • Create and send weekly newsletters and strategize dedicated emails through Mailchimp

    • Track email marketing metrics and make efforts to improve audience, open and click rates

  • Photograph PAA Events for posting and engagement

  • Attend staff meetings

  • Coordinate with the Development Coordinator to create, design, develop and implement a marketing strategy for all fundraisers and events throughout the year.
