The State Assembly Division supports and assists representatives at the state level in achieving their goals and profession. Are you seeking long-term opportunities that offer growth and development? The State Assembly Relations Manager position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in a unique direction. The Relations Manager serves as a critical bridge between our organization, state committees, and members. This role is responsible for managing relationships, facilitating communication, and ensuring the successful coordination and implementation of various programs and platforms. This position will work closely with the state leadership across the country to align program goals with external needs and expectations, fostering strong collaborative relationships that support the strategic goals on the state level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as a key Liaison between the State Assembly Department, state boards, committees, and AST, working in close collaboration
  • Onboarding/offboarding of state-level leadership
  • Enforcement and advocating for national and state policies, procedures, and bylaws
  • Marketing and social media efforts to promote activities at the state level
  • Coordinating in-person and virtual meetings, proficiency with Zoom, Google Meet, and other online meeting platforms, as well as conference call services
  • Approval and processing of state-level program requests and continuing education applications
  • Assist with annual National Conference Forum planning and preparing delegation representation
  • The position requires occasional out-of-state travel and several Saturday availabilities for leadership webinars and meetings.
