Position Overview

This role will be based in Denver, CO.

 

The Senior Vice President, People Experience, North America position supports Vantage’s business in North America. This role acts as a trusted, strategic, senior-level advisor on people experience, employee relations, organizational design, talent management, people development, and other human resources matters to the North America leadership team as well as other executives based in North America and all employees throughout our North American operations. This hands-on senior leader will be a passionate and driven leader, focused on the alignment of human capital to the company's business growth and results. This position will provide strategic, consultative direction and operational leadership for the business, articulating the needs and plans for People Experience/Human Resources programs and initiatives in North America.

Working with the P&C team and the North America leadership team, the successful candidate will continue the efforts to curate a best-in-class employee experience by focusing on the moments that matter for employees, keeping in touch with employee sentiment, and advising leaders on appropriate leadership and organizational strategies to drive a positive experience. This role requires collaboration with employee experience peers across the globe as well as members of the P&C Leadership Team leading talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation, and people information systems.

Priorities include developing a people strategy for the region adapting to the growth trends in the business and in the market, leading organizational change and integration, supporting culture and engagement, organizational development, performance management, employee relations and internal investigations, employee communications, employee onboarding and orientation, retention practices, and compliance initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Seven or more years of human resources experience, including managing teams

  • Experience developing strategic people plans to drive employee engagement and retention

  • General knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and human resource information systems (HRIS)—Workday experience a plus

  • Friendly, warm, approachable, and also no-nonsense,–skilled at having hard conversations and providing direct feedback

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization a plus

  • Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills, focused on impact and audience perception

  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

  • Excellent decision-making skills that balance business and leadership objectives with employee needs

  • Ability to use key performance indicators (KPIs), operational and financial data to provide the appropriate oversight at the department level

  • Strong personal & professional integrity

  • Experience leading change/change management

  • Love for a fast-paced environment (no really, we mean it—Vantage is Very. Fast. Paced.—we aren’t kidding)

  • Travel is expected to be approximately 35%, but may increase over time as the business evolves

  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $275,000-325,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
