Overview
EcoEnclose is seeking a Sales Executive to win new Enterprise-Level B2B packaging projects with sustainability-driven brands. Our targets are in industries like apparel, food, cosmetics, and supplements. In this critical role, you will receive high potential new business leads, convert them to project opportunities, develop custom product solutions, and drive closes of enterprise-level deals. You’ll champion EcoEnclose’s innovative packaging solutions — including 100% recycled shipping mailers, stand-up pouches made with recycled content, and algae-printed boxes — and accelerate the circular packaging movement. Successful employees develop a fluency in sustainable materials, a consultative approach to advising business trade-offs, and sales skills that will serve your long-term career and personal goals.
We are looking for candidates with a strong B2B sales track record who are hungry to win, critical problem-solvers, naturally curious, great relationship-builders, and sustainability-minded.
The compensation package is a $100K salary base + $100K in target commissions, plus benefits.
Expected deal flow is: 3 qualified leads per week, 40-60 closes per year, and $2M-$3M in sales won.
This is a hybrid 3 days/wk in-office + 2 days/wk WFH role, based in Boulder County, CO.
Responsibilities

Exceptional Discoveries: Uncovering pain points, probing with curiosity, deeply understanding the business needs of your leads, and identifying opportunities for sustainable packaging transitions

Technical Problem-Solving: Exploring across broad options to shape the best potential custom packaging programs for a leads’ business, brand, and budget, with a deep understanding of EcoEnclose’s solutions set

Nurturing Lead Relationships: Develop collaborative relationships with leads through consistent value-based touches, prioritize effectively among 30+ deals at once

Closing Deals: Fully leveraging your resources to develop winning proposals, presenting effectively, negotiating terms, and staying persistent to close deals

Ensuring Delivery Success: Work with account managers, artwork, delivery, and compliance teams to effectively translate a new won project into real-world success that is on-time & error-free

Professional Development: Regular deal reviews, sales skill-building, and new tactical experimentation to evolve into the highest-impact contributor
Qualifications

Experience-based knowledge of the B2B sales process, tactics, and frameworks

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets of a physical product in a B2B environment (or strong evidence of learning agility & drive for Level 1 candidates)

Intuition, character, and professionalism as it relates to building trust with new business leads

Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate unique stakeholder relationships

Ability to shape complex custom product solutions, including weighing and articulating complex trade-offs regarding product attributes, lead times, service levels, and price

Ability to project manage 30+ deals at once, including diligent CRM maintenance, and prioritizing action for the greatest potential impact

Flexibility to travel up to once per month

Stamina and patience to build and maintain relationships with brands over months or years. Typical sales cycle is 2-4 months.

Performance Expectation
Including a period of highly-structured onboarding, we expect the Sr. Sales Account Executive – B2B Enterprise to deliver $2M-$3M in closed new business revenue in the first 12 months of employment with EcoEnclose.
