A few highlights of what you will be doing:
Accountant
- Assist in preparing quarterly payroll returns
- Manage weekly deposits and reconciliations of cash receipts
- Bank and Investment reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintains and monitors fixed assets
- Performs month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Back-up Bookkeeper
- Process weekly payroll in Sage
- Monitor staff vacation time and insurance benefits
- Manage and prepare the weekly AP payment process
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- 5+ years of proven experience as Accountant
- Sage 100/MAS 90 accounting software or similar accounting software preferred
- Experience with processing payroll, and all facets of accounting
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting standards, preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Competitive Salary & Benefits Package: 11 paid holidays, 2 paid half-day holidays, sick leave, health, dental, vision, short- & long-term disability, life insurance, and two pensions.
Wage Rate: $1,347.47 per week DOE, plus weekly bonus of $336.85. Total $1,684.32
