A few highlights of what you will be doing:
Accountant

  • Assist in preparing quarterly payroll returns
  • Manage weekly deposits and reconciliations of cash receipts
  • Bank and Investment reconciliations and journal entries
  • Maintains and monitors fixed assets
  • Performs month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

Back-up Bookkeeper

  • Process weekly payroll in Sage
  • Monitor staff vacation time and insurance benefits
  • Manage and prepare the weekly AP payment process

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • 5+ years of proven experience as Accountant
  • Sage 100/MAS 90 accounting software or similar accounting software preferred
  • Experience with processing payroll, and all facets of accounting
  • Familiarity with nonprofit accounting standards, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Competitive Salary & Benefits Package: 11 paid holidays, 2 paid half-day holidays, sick leave, health, dental, vision, short- & long-term disability, life insurance, and two pensions.

Wage Rate: $1,347.47 per week DOE, plus weekly bonus of $336.85. Total $1,684.32
