The Data & Visualization Analyst ensures Rocky Mountain Partnership Cradle to Career™’s data infrastructure and products are accurate, timely, and compelling. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative and qualitative data to power RMP’s data scorecards, data hubs, dashboards, and reports. They transform complex data into accessible, actionable information for partners, internal teams, and the broader community.

REPORTS TO: Data & Information Strategist

WORK LOCATION: RMP’s satellite office at Community Reach Center (1870 W 122nd Ave, Westminster, CO 80234), remote online work from home and designated locations within the community. Must be available for in-person work during business hours and occasional evenings and weekends.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Data & Visualization Analyst ensures Rocky Mountain Partnership Cradle to Career™’s data infrastructure and products are accurate, timely, and compelling. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative and qualitative data to power RMP’s data scorecards, data hubs, dashboards, and reports. They transform complex data into accessible, actionable information for partners, internal teams, and the broader community.

The Analyst also leads the technical development of data-driven mapping products, including geo maps, fiscal maps, and other maps based on quantitative data, ensuring these tools meet high accuracy standards and integrate seamlessly into RMP’s public-facing and internal platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection, Cleaning, & Management

  • Pull, clean, validate, and prepare datasets from multiple sources, including public datasets, partner submissions, and survey results.

  • Develop and manage large data sets across disparate systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.

  • Maintain shared drives, data source libraries, and documentation for all data assets.

Data Analysis & Visualization

  • Conduct descriptive and trend analysis to inform and track progress toward cradle-to-career milestones.

  • Create dashboards, charts, maps, and interactive visuals that make data clearer and actionable, ensuring alignment with RMP branding and accessibility standards.

  • Develop and maintain interactive geo maps, fiscal maps, and other quantitative-data based maps that visualize outcomes, resources, and contextual factors.

  • Integrate mapping products into RMP’s data scorecards, data hubs, and dashboards for both public and internal audiences.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with the Data Insights Coaches to ensure maps and data visuals meet partner needs and are accessible to non-technical audiences.

  • Partner with external vendors, consultants, and contractors on specialized data and mapping projects.

  • Provide data content and visuals for reports, grant deliverables, communications, and presentations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in data analysis, visualization, or a related field

  • Proficient in data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar)

  • Experience cleaning, preparing, and managing complex data sets

  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and geospatial mapping

  • Ability to communicate technical data to non-technical audiences

  • Familiarity with cradle-to-career ecosystems, collective impact, or similar community-based work preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work Environment:
    This role involves a combination of remote work, in-office work at RMP’s main location, and participation in meetings at community spaces. Most work will occur during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend commitments.     To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, listen, operate a computer, drive a vehicle, and occasionally lift or move items over 10 pounds. COMPENSATION

RMP offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience and skills. The starting salary range for this position is $65,000–$80,000.
