About Pennock Center for Counseling 
Pennock Center, a 501(c)3, charitable non-profit, provides mental health services to the unserved, or underserved populations in our area. Our mission is to increase the accessibility to mental health services for those who are unable to find the help they need due to barriers like cost and location. The center offers sliding fee services for outpatient therapy and low or no-cost classes for targeted groups in our community.  Originally established as a program within the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton, we have grown into an independent full-service counseling center. Strategic community partnerships have supplemented our offerings including a working relationship with the local hospital, Platte Valley Hospital (Intermountain Healthcare), and the local school district (27J). 

About Brighton
Brighton, the Adams County seat, is an easy commute from most Denver metro areas and residing in the city offers many benefits. Brighton has a rich history as an agricultural center and is now a rapidly growing community with many things to offer.

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborative work with the Board of Director.
  • Oversee the clinical work of staff and interns to ensure effective and ethical practices and provide clinical supervision while monitoring regulations affecting clinical work.
  • Coordinate with graduate programs providing interns.
  • Develop partnerships with organization stakeholders, shareholders, industry regulators and other relevant parties.  
  • Assist in identifying potential sources of financial support and spearhead fundraising efforts. 
  • Represent the organization at social and corporate events in ways that strengthen the mission and communicate the organization’s message. 

Job Qualifications 

  • Licensed professional with solid clinical experience and an interest in nonprofit work.
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT or LP required.

Compensation and Benefits 
Compensation: $80-100K per year, depending on qualifications
