Summary

The Executive Director of The Limb Preservation Foundation serves as the chief executive, strategic leader and organizational strategist responsible for delivering the mission of providing support and community for those experiencing life and limb-threatening conditions.

Description

WHO WE ARE

The Limb Preservation Foundation (LPF) empowers individuals affected by limb-threatening conditions—whether from trauma, tumors, or infection—by providing compassionate support and building a strong, informed community.

Founded in 1986 by Ross Wilkins, MD, LPF lightens the burden of treatment and recovery by offering our signature patient financial assistance program, the only program in the U.S. that provides ongoing support for essential living expenses intended for low-income limb patients during treatment. LPF also provides emotional support through programs like our monthly Limb Care Connections support group, peer-to-peer support, Extremity Scholarships funding education for limb survivors, and the Hope Beyond Limits annual Symposium. Our work bridges clinical care, emotional healing, and innovative solutions through financial, emotional and educational support.
