Summary

The primary objective of the foundation coordinator is to help the Foundation team foster positive and enduring relationships with donors built on trust and accountability through activities that acknowledge, recognize and report on gifts. This position will work on projects that demonstrate impact and provide recognition to the Foundation’s donors. The foundation coordinator will help execute administrative processes and strategies to ensure that donors receive relevant, personalized and inspiring communication about the impact they are making through their philanthropic contributions. 

 

Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of donor data for impact reporting and acknowledgements.
  • Assist donors with payments of pledges and recurring gifts. 
  • Manage the production of donor honor rolls for Foundation annual report and other recognition events.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of segmentation strategies and communication efforts.
  • Serves as Foundation's point person in creating, managing and sending donor thank you videos via Gratavid.
  • Assist with Foundation virtual stewardship programs by preparing agendas, talking points and invitations. 
  • Run standard queries and exports for mailing lists and reports.
  • Respond to donor inquires via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency. 
  • Provide acknowledgement of In Memory and In Celebration gifts on a routine basis.

 

Education/Experience 

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. For remote applicants, a home office space that allows the applicant to be on phone or video calls throughout the day without interruption is required.

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Microsoft 365 suite of software and membership database software (iMIS).

  • High-level of organization, including attention to detail and follow-through.  
  • Enjoys interacting with others on a regular basis using multiple channels, including email, phone, video and in-person meetings.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze and manipulate data using Excel
  • Proficient in using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Outstanding professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, works with a sense of urgency; able to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and excels in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to three times per year for in-person team meetings.

Location

This position is eligible for remote employment.

 

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience, education and location. The hiring range for this role is $22-24 per hour. Gamma Phi Beta offers a full benefits package with an excellent paid-time off package that includes 12 days of vacation plus sick time, personal days, holidays and two weeks of additional paid-time off over the office’s winter break.
