What would you do if someone you know was heating their home with their oven? At Rebuilding Together Metro Denver these are the types of situations we see on a regular basis.
This is why Rebuilding Together Metro Denver’s mission; “providing safe and healthy homes for every person by bringing neighbor volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners”is so critical. In today’s market environment, low-income homeowners are facing ever-increasing maintenance costs and mounting pressures to sell their homes. These sales are all too often to developers and real-estate investment firms looking to make a profit.
Rebuilding Together Metro Denver (RTMD) is a nonprofit housing organization that believes community starts at home. We provide critical repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades at no cost to service recipients. Our impact extends beyond the individuals served, helping to revitalize and stabilize vulnerable neighborhoods and communities across seven Denver metro counties.
