Linhart Public Relations is seeking a talented public relations professional to join our team and support our current clients and expected growth in consumer, corporate and B2B public relations, while helping to manage and mentor junior staff. Description
What You’ll Do
- Lead development and implementation of strategic communications plans and budgets to achieve client brand and business goals, working collaboratively with account supervisors but without needing extensive direction or oversight
- Provide thoughtful insights and creative thinking to help enhance client satisfaction, retention and relationships
- Apply strong project management and problem-solving skills to ensure a smooth, efficient experience for clients and our team
- Drive content marketing programs, ensuring writing is clear, concise and persuasive across media materials; bylined articles and white papers; blog, web and social content; presentations; and executive and employee communications
- Deliver earned media results by identifying appropriate media targets; creating compelling story pitches; building relationships with editors, reporters and producers; maintaining a steady tempo of touchpoints to put client stories in the news; and preparing client spokespersons for effective media interviews
- Supervise the management and monitoring of social media channels and other digital properties, including blogs, websites and online stakeholder engagement platforms
- Interact directly with clients, manage projects and budgets, and track and report program results
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, media, journalism or related field
- 4 – 5 years of professional experience; prior PR firm experience required
- Ability to serve as a leader, mentor, coach and motivator for junior staff
- Logical thinker who can quickly absorb and analyze information and understand client businesses and competitive landscapes
- Outstanding written and oral communications abilities (including familiarity with AP Style) and strong listening and interpersonal skills
- Experienced in developing and implementing strategic communications plans based on a clear understanding of client business environments and objectives
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently
- Curious and creative, with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset and a proven desire to try new things, learn and grow
- An emotionally intelligent, responsible, flexible, collaborative team player who gets along well with others

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive pay: $65,000 – $80,000 (based on years of experience in PR), with the opportunity for an annual performance-based bonus
