Tryba Architects is a Denver-based design firm with a national reputation for excellence in the integration of architecture, interior design, urban design, and preservation. Our interiors practice provides a full scope of services including programming, interior architecture, material and finish selection, FF&E, art integration, and furnishing coordination. We guide clients through every phase of the design process—from conceptual development through documentation, specification, and installation.
Our work includes award-winning workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, civic, and residential interiors for clients including Google, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Davis Graham, Aimco, and Rocky Mountain Public Media.
Key Expectations
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Interior Architect with 10+ years of experience in workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, and commercial interiors. The ideal candidate is a strong design thinker with demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through construction administration.
Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience coordinating clients, consultants, and project teams across complex interior architecture projects. Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience with Enscape and other visualization tools is preferred.
The successful candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing design excellence with project delivery.
Core Responsibilities

  • Lead interior architecture projects through all phases, from programming and concept design through construction administration and installation
  • Develop thoughtful, highly crafted workplace environments grounded in client culture, wellness, flexibility, and connection to place
  • Lead client presentations, workshops, and coordination meetings
  • Develop specifications for furnishings, fixtures, and materials
  • Research, select, and detail products for client approval
  • Apply critical design thinking and architectural knowledge throughout the process
  • Guide and mentor junior staff to foster professional growth
  • Strong interest in stewarding and maintaining client relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited program
  • 10+ years of professional experience in workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, multifamily, or commercial interiors
  • Strong design sensibility with demonstrated experience leading complex interior architecture projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit/BIM workflows
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, interior detailing, building systems, materials, and specifications
  • Experience leading consultant coordination and client-facing project delivery
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and project scales
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • NCIDQ, Registered Interior Designer, or Architect licensure preferred
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation preferred
