Purpose: Our online presence is often the first (and most consistent) touchpoint with moms, leaders, and partners around the globe. You bring the voice of MomCo to life across social platforms through meaningful content and authentic engagement.

Description

Scope: As our Content & Community Manager, you write the words, schedule the posts, and connect with the moms and leaders who show up in our digital spaces every day. You support our broader social media strategy by keeping the content flowing, the comments answered, and the brand shining.

Key Responsibilities

Content Ideation + Caption Writing
• Create original, engaging captions for all MomCo Mom & Leader social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Align messaging with current campaigns, events, seasonal themes in order to keep content fresh, relevant, and relatable.
• Source relevant quotes, user-generated content, and prompts for the team.
• Adapt tone and content for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Serve in the social working group.
• Hold quality review (social, email, webpages, pdfs, magazine, print pieces) to ensure everything the team releases is error free and delivers compelling content.

Social Media Scheduling + Management
• Schedule and manage all approved content on a weekly basis (planning social four weeks in advance, then adjusting as needed).
• Coordinate with social working group to ensure all posts are approved and ready to go (edited, content, and visuals approved).
• Monitor metrics and report weekly to social team. Additionally, report on campaign specific metrics.

Community Engagement
• Respond to DMs and comments with warmth, care, and clarity. Elevate high-priority messages or inquiries for internal follow-up.
• Facilitate two-way conversations across platforms to deepen connections and build trust with moms and leaders. • Drive communication and engagement with our MOMCON and mom Facebook groups to build community in digital spaces.
• Help our audience feel seen, valued, and part of the movement.
• Oversee and resource our volunteer run Discord group.
• Launch a Reddit MomCo group and seek to drive engagement and growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience managing social platforms in a brand or organizational setting
• Understanding of audience behavior and trends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, especially for short-form content
• Proficiency in tools like Later, Meta Business Suite, Canva, or similar
• A collaborative spirit and fun-loving attitude—you're the team player everyone wants in the room (or the group chat)
• You’re trustworthy with sensitive information — you know when something is still behind-the-scenes, in development, or under wraps, and you treat it that way.
• Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MomCo Faith and Values Statement

Bonus Points if You:
• Can spot a trend and translate it into meaningful, mission-driven content
• Are comfortable working with creative assets like reels, behind-the-scenes footage, and short-form video
• Have worked in nonprofit, mission-driven, or faith-based environments
• Know how to adapt tone and voice by platform, while keeping a cohesive brand feel

• Pay range $25 to $27 per hour depending on experience
