Administers all park and recreation operations for the Eaton AreaPark and Recreation District and is responsible for the planning, organization, staffing, coordinating,directing, and enforcing of all policies and procedures regarding functions of the district. The directorperforms a variety of complex professional and administrative duties in planning, developing, scheduling,directing, and implementing year-round recreation programs, events, and capital projects.

Scope of Position:

General Statement of Duties: Administers all park and recreation operations for the Eaton Area Park and Recreation District and is responsible for the planning, organization, staffing, coordinating, directing, and enforcing of all policies and procedures regarding functions of the district. The director performs a variety of complex professional and administrative duties in planning, developing, scheduling, directing, and implementing year-round recreation programs, events, and capital projects. The Eaton Area Park & Recreation District (EAPRD) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

 

  • Supervision Recieved: Works under the direction of the Eaton Area Park and Recreation District Board of Directors.
  • Supervision Exercised: Supervises all EAPRD Managers, Full Time and Part Time Staff, and Contractors hired by the EAPRD.
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 Annually
