Description

Are you a motivated, entrepreneurial leader who thrives on building relationships, growing organizations, and making a direct impact? We’re seeking a Chapter Executive to lead our local NTMA chapter as an independent contractor (1099).

This contract role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility and autonomy while still being the face of an organization—driving membership growth, building partnerships, and creating programs that strengthen the manufacturing community.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Manage – Oversee daily chapter operations and support the Board in setting strategic goals.
  • Grow Membership – Recruit, retain, and engage members, ensuring they see maximum value from their involvement.
  • Build Partnerships – Connect with manufacturers, educators, elected officials, and industry leaders to expand the chapter’s impact.
  • Drive Revenue – Explore non-dues revenue, sponsorships, and grants to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
  • Promote & Market – Manage communications, website, and social media presence while representing the chapter at local and national events.
  • Coordinate Programs & Events – Plan and deliver valuable programs, networking opportunities, and events for members.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years in leadership, nonprofit, or association management.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills; confident in building relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as a contractor.
  • Comfortable with technology: CRM systems, Microsoft Office, social media, and websites.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Familiarity with manufacturing/metalworking industries.
  • Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or workforce development.
  • Strategic planning and nonprofit board support.

Why This Role is Different

This is not a traditional staff job—it’s a 1099 contract opportunity. You’ll have the flexibility of independent work while playing a high-impact leadership role in Colorado’s manufacturing community. You’ll work directly with a strong local Board and have access to NTMA’s national network, but you’ll also have the freedom to bring your own creativity, vision, and entrepreneurial mindset to the role.

If you’re ready to lead, grow, and make a difference as an independent contractor, submit your resume and cover letter through Indeed. Join us in advancing manufacturing and creating opportunities for our members and community. For more information please call Christina  at 720-431-5794 or email christina@aspenmfgw.com
