Member Experience Associate (Full-time)

  • Location: In-Person; 40 hours/week.

  • Salary Rate: $50,000 – $55,000 annually

About the Role

At TARRA, we believe community and hospitality go hand-in-hand. As a Member Experience Associate, you are the face of our community and a vital part of daily operations. This role ensures the space is open, welcoming, and running smoothly while delivering the high-touch, hospitality-driven experience TARRA is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Daily Operations

  • Open and prepare the space each day following established procedures.
  • Set up front desk systems and review internal platforms including OfficeRnD, calendars, email, and Slack.
  • Review meeting schedules and prepare conference and meeting rooms as needed.
  • Stay up to date on messages, tasks, and space needs throughout the day.
  • Support daily operations by identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Complete assigned operational and light cleaning tasks as needed.

Member & Guest Experience

  • Welcome members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day member needs and questions.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
  • Provide tours to prospective members and visitors on an as needed basis.
  • Assist with onboarding new members and helping them feel integrated into the community.
  • Check in with members and guests to ensure they feel comfortable, supported, and informed.
  • Uphold TARRA’s hospitality standards in every interaction.

Administrative & Communication Support

  • Monitor and respond to emails sent to the general inbox throughout the day.
  • Organize, document, and route inquiries to the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Support internal communication by coordinating information across teams.
  • Provide general administrative support to the leadership and operations teams.

Space Care & Presentation

  • Help to maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout all common areas.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure meeting rooms, kitchen areas, plants, and technology are presentation-ready.
  • Straighten furniture, reset rooms after meetings, and monitor shared spaces throughout the day.
  • Maintain kitchen and coffee stations, including dishes, counters, and supplies.
  • Identify basic maintenance or IT/AV issues and escalate as needed.

Mail, Deliveries & Closing

  • Check, log, and distribute mail and deliveries according to established procedures.
  • Support vendor coordination and building-related requests when necessary.
  • Complete end-of-day closing tasks to ensure the space is secure and prepared for the next day.
  • Responsible for opening the space(s) every morning. Times will vary based on events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Customer service, hospitality, coworking, or front-desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to identify needs and complete tasks independently
  • Organized, dependable, and proactive with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning and using digital tools, systems, and technology
  • Calm, professional demeanor with the ability to multitask gracefully
  • Ability to move throughout the space and assist with light physical tasks as needed
  • Team-oriented mindset with empathy, integrity, and reliability
