- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Proven experience planning and executing significant trade shows.
- Previous experience to manage on-site vendors and contractors, as well as finances, invoices and payment systems.
- Able to travel about ~25%-50% of time both domestically and internationally.

What does this role look like? ➥ We’re looking for a motivated communications professional to lead the planning and execution of major trade shows, exhibits and marketing events for Lockheed Martin Space.
➥ The successful candidate must have a proven ability in planning and managing logistics, a high attention to detail, and use creativity to translate marketing and business strategy into compelling, engaging exhibits.
➥ This position will lead and travel to roughly 8 – 10 shows per year, including both domestically and internationally.
➥ The coordinator will work closely with Communications, Strategy and Business Development, Government Affairs and other key stakeholders to determine a strategy for each show, and then create and execute a detailed plan to turn that strategy into results.
Desired Skills To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
- Proven strategic‑communications mindset that drives business outcomes.
- Multi‑channel communication expertise (incl. emerging tech) with strong writing, editing, and messaging skills.
- Interpersonal skills for effective partnership and influencing, with ability to build and collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels.
- Project, inventory, and event‑management experience (incl. trade shows, digital/marketing communications, protocol, international relations).
- Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and handle ambiguity.
- Detail‑oriented, high sense of urgency, and strong work ethic.
- Self‑starter, dependable, and able to deliver quality with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin’s business or broader aerospace sector.
- Ability to handle light to moderate physical activity.
