Southeast Rural Philanthropy Days Event Coordinator

Southeast Rural Philanthropy Days (SE RPD) is a regional event that brings together nonprofit organizations with local and statewide funders, businesses, elected officials, and government agencies for a three day conference. The purpose of RPD is to increase resources, collaboration, and the sustainability of the local nonprofit community expanding the relationships and opportunities available.

The Southeast region includes Baca, Bent, Crowley, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero and Prowers counties. The event is planned by a regional Steering Committee. The coordinator position reports specifically to an Executive Committee, including two event Co-Chairs and Community Resource Center staff. The coordinator is a key individual to the success of the RPD conference. She/he is the informational liaison between the Committee, local government and businesses, participants, funders and the community hosting RPD.

Manager of Exhibitions, Art Collections & Registration

Manage registration and preparation for exhibitions and art collections; indoor and outdoor exhibition maintenance and monitoring; supervise collection maintenance and storage. Coordinate the marketing and promotion of art exhibits. Manage off-site exhibits program.

Campaign Manager

Responsible for managing and implementing the Students of the Year campaign, Man & Woman of the Year auction, and third party events for the Rocky Mountain Chapter in support of the LLS mission.

Conference and Meeting Assistant

This position is primarily responsible for furthering the mission and vision of the organization by
supporting the Sorority’s meetings and conferences. The position specifically assists with the event
logistics for Convention, REAL Leadership Events, House Corporation Board Conference, Extension and
Recruitment, Initiation and Installation of new chapters and any additional Sorority conferences.

Sponsorship Coordinator

This position will organize and coordinate State Fair sponsorships, focusing on driving sponsorship revenues of the annual State Fair and Fair produced events. Position will oversee all aspects of the sponsorship program, including: budget, execution of all aspects of the sponsorship agreements and sponsor relations. Position will develop the structure of the sponsorship program; negotiate agreements with sponsors; coordinate special events and promotions related to sponsorships; and maintain sponsorship plans for year-round promoted events and sponsorship opportunities. Position will cultivate new sponsors while maintaining current sponsors and positive sponsor relationships. This position is required to supervise one full time employee and will supervise several temporary employees during the State Fair.
