Special Events Manager

This is a 75% benefits eligible position, which reports directly to the Assistant Head of School. The core function of the position is to manage and implement the logistics of advancement-related events and other special events for the Colorado Academy community. The person in this position works with the Advancement Team, Board of Trustees, and volunteer leadership on community-building and major fundraising events, to ensure that goals and timelines are met or exceeded. As part of that, the position coordinates and represents the school with vendors and sponsors. This position also plays a key role in donor relations and stewardship, interacting with donors through events and ongoing communications.

Business Development and Special Event Internship

Event Specialist

This role plays a key a part in executing upon the marketing strategy and supporting the private event offerings of Molly’s Spirits. We provide great customer service, and offer custom packages for people to supply alcohol for everything from a family BBQ to large weddings and conventions. We work closely with venues, caterers, event planners, and individual clients to make sure they have the right volume and product mix for their special occasion. We are a fast-growing company, and this role will be pivotal as we grow from $20 million to $100 million and expand into new markets. Molly’s has led the charge in delivery and event services in retail liquor, and we are preparing to launch a large e-commerce platform and open a second store in Greenwood Village. Both of these endeavors open up great opportunities to expand our private event sales, and we are looking to add to our event team to help us scale this piece of the business. The Events Specialist will find and create new opportunities for Molly’s presence at outside events, and work with the Marketing team to execute non-profit event donations. This role requires someone who is flexible, proactive, and will thrive when given the opportunity to help define how this arm of the business can improve and grow.

We are looking for a enthusiastic, self-starter to join our property management team responsible for the management and operation of two outdoor lifestyle centers in the greater Denver Metro. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that produces and presents the best in live theatre through Broadway touring shows and the region’s largest professional theatre company, engages students from across the state through its theatre education programs, and manages a variety of premier rental venues. The DCPA operates in eight theatres and has a portfolio of other facilities it also manages. In FY2019, the DCPA offered 43 unique shows and 1,143 performances attended by more than 850,000 patrons, including 142,000 students of all ages who were engaged on and off-campus. In total, the DCPA had a year-end economic impact on the region of $193 million.
Job purpose
Reporting to the Manager of Stewardship, the Events and Development Officer is responsible for the overall management and execution of over 30 annual events. This individual will lead fundraising efforts for the events by soliciting single ticket, table hosts and sponsorships.

This individual will have a strong background in non-profit fundraising events management and a proven track record of executing a range of successful events from small luncheons and evening events to large red carpet galas and silent actions that host over a thousand high profile Trustees, Donors and attendees. This individual will have experience with managing volunteers as well as working with cross functional internal stakeholders such as Leadership, Creative and Marketing, Education, Ticketing, Finance and Accounting teams.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent interpersonal skills, poise and professionalism to interact with high level VIP Donors on a consistent bases as well as an interest for the arts and ability to speak passionately on behalf of the DCPA as a cultural institution. This individual must have excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several projects and events at a time with great attention to detail and be deadline driven.

Manager of Development and Events

Promotes philanthropic and community awareness initiatives in an effort to support hospice and palliative care. Responsible for growing donor base, renewing and upgrading member support and strengthening relationships with current members. Responsible for the creation, management and execution of all development fundraising and stewardship events.
