Programs & Operations Director

The Programs & Operations Director:

Ensures the smooth overall management of the association’s business operations while establishing its leadership position as the premier provider of industry programs including Annual Conference programming, year-round targeted education, professional certifications, and the most respected cheese Judging & Competition.

Assists the Executive Director by providing strategic planning, executive oversight, and daily management support of operational, human resources, programming, administrative, and accounting areas. Serves as top-ranking staff member in Executive Director’s absence.

Is responsible for the management and supervision of two direct reports, providing direction, setting goals, giving feedback and coaching, and identifying appropriate professional development and training.

Works in close collaboration with ACS directors and staff overseeing the operations of the Education Committee, and Certification Committee; and serves as Staff Liaison to the Judging & Competition Committee.

Marketing and Development Specialist

The Marketing and Development Specialist is responsible for marketing, public relations and social media functions. In addition, this professional will play an instrumental role in development functions, serving as the lead on two special events, supporting social media/direct mail campaigns, grants and managing volunteers.

Event/Sales Internship

Get hands on event experience at a variety of different events. You’ll get to see the ins and outs of what it takes to execute an event from start to finish. Scratch that. You won’t see it, you’ll experience it. We are seeking interns who are ready to get their hands dirty, create relationships with restaurants, and learn the process of face-paced event success. This will be the least boring internship you’ll ever have!

Events Communications Coordinator I

Responsible for managing the communication to internal company teams and external customers during network events. Interfaces with service management to both ascertain critical details of these network events as well as to document the flow of repair and the parties involved. During these outages, Responsible for the documentation of workflow occurring on the audio bridge, email, or chat session established for the activity. Takes information provided by the technical teams and translates the communication into customer friendly non-proprietary terms that can be broadcast across a very large audience.

Festival and Special Events Coordinator

The primary responsibility of the Festival and Special Events Coordinator will be to manage events and festivals for Center for the Arts Evergreen. These events include outside rentals of the facility, fundraising events, and the Summerfest and Winterfest arts and crafts fairs. The Festival & Special Events Coordinator will work closely will all staff as well as designated committees of the Board of Directors, volunteers and corresponding volunteer organizations, as well as artists, vendors, entertainers, and partnering entities

Development and Membership Manager

The Arvada Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Development and Membership Manager to lead new member engagement and on-boarding, support sponsor development and retention, grow Chamber and event engagement and be an advocate for creating a thriving business community in Arvada.

Development & Events Assistant

Provides excellent, efficient, and energetic administrative and fundraising support to assist the Development team in creating and implementing strategies that ensure sustainability and organizational growth. This full-time staff member reports to the Director of Philanthropy and supports the Director of Philanthropy, Events & Community Partnerships Manager, Donor Relations Coordinator, and Grants & Foundation Relations Manager.

Digital Intern

The Cancer Support Community (CSC) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of all people touched by cancer. We are seeking a passionate, hard-working student to join our Denver office as the Digital Intern.

As an integral member of the Digital Team, the Digital Intern will gain valuable experience in digital marketing, data and website management, event planning and social media, and will also have the opportunity to interact with different departments within the organization to plan, manage, and execute campaigns. The Digital Intern will work closely with different members of the digital team to help maintain our digital assets, build on our digital strategy, and participate in fundraising activities.

Event Planner

CWA’s Events Planner is responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, and producing all the association’s meetings and events. The Event Planner delivers profitable meetings, special events, educational experiences, regional conferences, and an annual international conference and trade show.
