Arc Thrift Stores, a Colorado-based Non-profit, has an opportunity for a: Chief Financial Officer
Overall responsibility for corporate financials for all operating business sites and divisions
- BA or Masters in a Business related field is preferred. CPA or CMA is desirable.
- Six to eight years of combined public and private industry accounting or finance experience, including five+ years of experience in a senior finance management role or equivalent.
Responsible for implementing and developing control policies from an accounting and external contract perspective. Performs ongoing analyses surrounding multi-site businesses and divisions for profitability; ensures accounting systems are operational and troubleshoots problems to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximization of profits. Plays a vital role within the management team. Ability to build relationships with V.P.’s, Directors and Operational Executives at all levels. This position reports to the President/CEO.
Arc Thrift is one of Colorado's largest non-profits and social enterprises, with nearly 2,500 employees, 40 stores, and a large warehousing operation. Arc Thrift has now expanded beyond Colorado; 2 stores in New Mexico and soon one in San Antonio, Texas.
