KOTO News is seeking a motivated, part-time general assignment reporter for a small, nonprofit community radio station. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, or experience covering community news. This position is 24 hours a week. KOTO News is a small operation with ambitious goals. Our newscasts air Monday through Friday, so be prepared to meet a daily deadline. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of all aspects of news coverage, including the importance of adhering to the almighty deadline and the Code of Ethics. The right person will be willing to hit the ground running. There is plenty of room for creative storytelling apart from the daily grind.

News Director

Colorado Public Radio is looking for a News Director who wants to lead, inspire and grow a talented multi-platform team providing meaningful, thoughtful and in-depth news for hundreds of thousands of Coloradans. This senior leader will provide strategic direction for a team that has quadrupled in the past ten years to a staff of 27. Building on CPR’s current news plan, the News Director will develop the long-term strategies, tactics, resources, budget – and especially the people – to grow CPR News into the state’s most trusted news source.
