Part-time, 12-month non-exempt position that reports directly to the Director of Risk Management. Safety & Security staff are responsible for patrolling the 94-acre campus and monitoring all activity. This position will support weekend security operations, with the officer working Saturday and Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Colorado Academy has consistent weekend activity where students, staff, parents, or the general public with an authorized purpose may visit the campus.

Campus Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors across Colorado Academy’s 94-acre campus. This position is designated as safety-sensitive due to the regular responsibility for carrying a firearm and making time-sensitive decisions that directly impact campus safety.
