Director, On-Air Promotion Planning & Strategy

The Director, On-Air Promotion Planning & Strategy provides critical insights and develops the strategy to drive on-air promotion performance for marketing of the Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) networks. Reporting to the Vice President of Creative Services, the Director of On-Air Promotion Planning & Strategy offers a unique opportunity to have a significant impact with on-air presence by working closely with a variety of cross-functional teams including ad sales, creative services, marketing, research, programming, social media and traffic. This role is responsible for using strong analytical/strategic thinking to identify areas of opportunity to grow the business and strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence strategy.

Director of Development

The Director, Development is a regular full-time position reporting directly to the CEO and works closely with the USA Volleyball Foundation (USAVF) Board of Directors. The incumbent works jointly with the USAVF Chair in carrying out the Foundation mission. In addition, the position is responsible for: leading philanthropic gifting for USA Volleyball; creating and delivering a comprehensive successful Development strategic plan; launching new fundraising events, programs, and campaigns and increasing engagement with current members, alumni, donors, and fans. The position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Extensive hours may be required to include, nights and weekends. Moderate travel is necessary.


The successful candidate will be a vital member of the Sport Management faculty and will be required to follow all faculty responsibilities described in the MSU Denver Handbook for Professional Personnel. The ideal candidate must be able to teach Sport Media, Sport Marketing, and Sport Finance as well as at least one of the following courses: Sport Law, Sport Analytics, or Sport Governance & Policy. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in scholarship activities, advise and mentor undergraduate students, supervise student fieldwork experiences, assume an active role in appropriate professional organizations, and provide service to the department, school, university and profession. The position is a ten-month, tenure-track appointment. The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate must have the ability to work with historically underrepresented students, including students of color. Appointment begins Fall 2019.

Chief PR and Brand Officer

The Chief PR and Brand Officer is an innovative leader with creative, strategic, and financial acumen coupled with strong business intellect who collaborates with the CEO and the Board of Directors to develop our public relations, brand, and take our organization to the next level. The Chief PR and Brand Officer is responsible for cultivating, developing and managing audience engagement to advance the mission and vision of FIL. As the organizational leader in communications, public relations, media relations, this role is responsible for the management of all communication strategies, outreach programs and educational efforts to reach a wide array of audiences.
