The incumbent performs high level professional planning work coordinating transportation planning projects. The primary responsibilities of this position are applying analytical planning concepts and transportation planning/engineering principles. This includes performing a variety of transportation planning, research, design, coordination and studies of routine difficulty related to the City and County’s transportation planning function and providing information and assistance to City and County staff and the public.

The incumbent provides holistic services to the public by seeking ways to integrate programs or services provided by other departments, divisions and agencies.
