This position will be responsible for conducting outreach to key Tribal governments and Tribal utility authorities in WRA’s region, with a focus on building long-term partnerships, sharing information about grid regionalization efforts – energy markets and transmission expansion – and identifying areas of common interest around transmission planning and siting.
The Senior Attorney, Clean Energy, will represent WRA across the region in state-level administrative proceedings, as well as state and federal litigation as necessary.
The Building Decarbonization Policy Advisor will work to advance policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from burning fossil fuels in buildings across the Interior West, with a focus on policies to support beneficial electrification and reduce utility spending on gas distribution infrastructure.
