We’re looking for a seasoned classification and compensation strategist who will create the strategy and vision for the state’s pay programs going into the future. This position will review, maintain, develop and innovate total compensation strategies to meet the state’s workforce needs as we seek to become an employer of choice in this competitive labor marker. The role implements and maintains the compensation and classification structures and variable pay programs in compliance with statute, rule, State and Federal law. Your experience working in state, local or federal government and/or professional HR compensation experience in a highly-regulated and monitored environment will be a great advantage for insight into the culture of the diverse state agencies you’ll be working with.
